Hi, I am not sure if we can use no hea in the place of kei hea? sorry I cant make the macrons work! We learnt no hea earlier. Also is there a 77 and 78? I had to mass a few and dont want to have missed even more.Thank you.Barby

Tēnā koe Barby,

Nō hea = Where from, whereas kei hea = Where is/are.

For example:

Question:
Nō hea tō whaea? = Where is your mum from?

Answer:
Haina taku whaea. = My mum's from China.

Question:
Kei hea te wharepaku? = Where's the bathroom?

Answer:
Kei waho, kei te taha matau o te whare. = Outside, on the right side of the house.

Also, in regards to the macrons, I posted some instructions on how to install the Māori language on to your language bar on this thread - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=104 - on the second comment.

I hope this helps :)

Nāku noa,
Jarrod
